Yahoo mesenger beta 9.0 installation error?

I've been installing this the 5th time now and it keeps on having an error where it has some kind of installation configuration error. And everytime this error comes up, it says that reinstallation may fix the problem.. but it doesn't. what should i do?

Don't attempt direct download.


Go to messenger.yahoo.com %26amp; click on 'download' When prompted,


First,save the download file in stead of direct run.


Close the internet connection.


Run the saved file off line.


Installation wizard will appear.


Follow the instructions carefully.


You will find installation process successful.
Reply:uninstall and download from here and then install
