I just downloaded messenger on my lap top. My MESENGER iD is difrent from my Yahoo ID how do I log on to mesg

I have tried to log on, but it wont let me, it keeps asking me if I want to change the password for my main yahoo ID which I dont..i just dont know what else to do..thanks for any help!

Download Trillian instead. It combines all of the messengers and aim's into one easy to use program.
Reply:the reason its asking that is because you did not type in your user name or pass correctly.
Reply:JUST LOG INTO YAHOO MAIL AND IT WILL TELL YOU HOW MANY MESSAGES YOU HAVE IN YOUR INBOX AND YOU MESSENGER!
Reply:If the above advice doesnt work contact yahoo. They'll have an answer, just amybe not a very quick one.
