Can my mesenger conversations be veiwed??

On my messenger I set it so that my conversations aren't saved, but can someone still veiw them some how? My co worker thinks my boss somehow hacked our computers??

Supposedly, messanger conversations can only be viewed by you and the person you are talking to. No one else is suppose to hear your messanger conversations.
