Why did my Yahoo Mesenger change looks when I got SBC Yahoo DSL as a internet provider?

Looks like an older version, signs me in by itself

Why did my Yahoo Mesenger change looks when I got SBC Yahoo DSL as a internet provider?
It is just the one that they use for that. I don't like it either, and you don't have some of the same features on it that you used to have either. I don't think that you can change it back either, I can't find a way.. good luck, and you will get used to it

Reply:Because Yahoo provides SBC global and when you get SBC global it changes your Yahoo Messenger, to a "upgraded" version for getting SBC global. Trust me, i had that problem too!
