go to yahoo Messenger


click "preferences"


in category select "Archive"


check the button "Yes, save all of my messeges."


click "apply" then ok





to read your offline/messseges


click "Contacts" menu


select "Messege Archive"

Reply:i get the same problem sometimes.. i find that if i delete my message archive before somebody checks their messenger that the offline messages get deleted too.. so if you talk to people, tell them to not delete their message archive for a couple days if at all
