How do i stop yahoo mesenger from apearing everytime i turn my computer on?????

In the sign in window, deselect the "Sign in automatically" option.

How do i stop yahoo mesenger from apearing everytime i turn my computer on?????
On the buddy list, click Messenger then click Preferences then on the left click General then on the right uncheck the box that says "When I start my computer automatically log on"
Reply:hit start, go to the 'run' and type in msconfig. Go to the far tab on the right(startup) and uncheck yahoo messenger. Then restart.
